Welcome to my Blog…
June 30, 2009 - 12:35 pm - Great work man, your photos are looking better and better every time. Lets get together and shoot sometime.
Ali Beck
I feel so blessed spending a Sunday afternoon taking pictures in San Diego, even in the midst of our winter season we have plenty of sun. Ali and I had been talking about setting up a session for a few months, we just never seemed to be able to pin down a date and time. I really had no idea where we would end up, we planned on starting in Sea Port Village and letting then let the wind blow us where it may. As it turned out everyone else thought it was a good day to spend in Sea Port Village as well. In an effort to find some breathing room we headed to Belmont Park, which turned out to be a great idea. As soon as we got there Ali made me take some balloons she brought with her. It seems she has a bit of globophobia (balloon phobia), funny considering it was her idea in the first place. I’m glad she was brave and held her ground because I really liked how the balloon pictures turned out. She lasted about 15 minutes before she was begging me to let her give the balloons away to some kids walking by. The whole day was perfect, even when her ice cream was melting all over the place we were both laughing and having fun. Although she did miss her ice cream after she threw it away…

Brittney C.
It is amazing how many beautiful days we have in San Diego, sometimes I feel like we don’t have any harsh weather. That is until we are hit with a few winter storms, which seem to be fairly plentiful the last month or so. It’s no wonder there are so many accidents on weather stricken days in San Diego, no one gets any practice driving in the rain these days. But like so many others, the day I shot Brittney was perfect. I could not find something to complain about if I tried. What more can you ask for, the sun was shining, a cool breeze blowing gently over the crashing waves along the west coast, not to mention the lovely subject matter. I had a wonderful time getting to know Brittney as we walked around La Jolla Cove. I can’t imagine a better way to spend an afternoon.

The lovely Dennise
On a cold December night I decided to go out shooting with Denisse, the plan was to do a more model type shoot with her. She really did a great job, you cold tell she was having a lot of fun trying new things. We both had a great time out there braving the chill winter night, the only thing I could have asked for was maybe a little more light. I’m just glad Balboa Park has a few lights on at night. If you have never been there at night you should go sometime, it really is a way different experience. I think you will be glad you did, it really is a beautiful park, day or night…
