Laura’s Grad Pictures
I love being able to capture special moments in time. It does not matter whether it’s a birth, a wedding, birthday, graduation or a princess tea party with all the good little lords and ladies invited, every moment has something unique and beautiful. I can’t tell you how many times I have looked back at my old pictures to find myself swept away in those almost forgotten memories. Letting the images of my childhood take me back to a place of childhood wonder and laughter. Although not all pictures produce such grandeur, they all cause your feelings to stir. If you could take a second of your life and capture it for all time, do you know what instant you would save? It’s kind of hard for me to pick just one hour to save much less smidgin of that time. That might be another reason I love to take pictures, it gives me the chance to seek out and capture many of those beautiful times in peoples lives. Who wants just one second when they can have 100 different memories to look back on and smile? Graduations are one of those times in your life when you are about to take a giant leap out into the world. A time full of accomplishment, joy and possibly a little anxiety about what the future may hold. Quite often offering you very little time to catch your breath before moving on to even more goals and dreams. Many people forget to stop and take a breath, take a minute to look at all you have done. They seem to not notice the roses that are asking them to stop for a bit to test out their senses. It’s a beautiful world out there, Don’t be afraid to reach out and touch it.
Congratulations Laura, I hope your dreams take you… to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known.

Wives, Mom’s and Baby Bumps Part 3
Errin has a great smile and a laugh that can shed a little sun on an otherwise cloudy day. It was so much fun working with Chelsea, Paula and Errin. They all seemed to have such a good time, commenting and throwing out cool poses and ideas the whole time we shot.

Wives, Mom’s and Baby Bumps Part 2
I have more people asking to shoot at Balboa Park than anywhere else in San Diego, although the beach would probably come in at a close second. It is quite beautiful, I can see why so many people love to shoot at the Park. In fact I see at least half a dozen photographers out and about every time I go to Balboa Park. So I can’t help but wonder, could that old adage be true, do great minds think alike? If great minds do think alike, it seems we have quite a few of them wandering the streets of San Diego’s most prominent Parks. I can’t speak for all the others in the Park, but Paula is no exception to the rule. She has quite a head on her shoulders, a military wife and a soon to be mother of a new little girl. Kind and gentle yet strong enough to stand on her own as her husband protects our freedoms. The more and more I see military families, the more I admire their strength.
