I had the pleasure of shooting two wonderful young ladies up on Mt. Helix about a week ago. If you ask me we had a great time, but I was doing what I love to do so I may be a little partial. The weather was amazing, I guess that’s why they call it the calm before the storm. If we had done it a day later we would not have been so lucky. When the day started I thought I was only shooting one pretty girl, but my cards seemed to multiply when Gaili’s friend Bridge showed up. With a little persuasion and a bit of rummaging through Gaili’s closet (car) we convinced her to pose for a couple pictures. The pictures of them together turned out so good, I’m glad she stopped by so unexpectedly…

A few weeks ago I went out to Balboa Park with Rebecca to shoot a few pictures. It’s really amazing how many beautiful places we have in San Diego, if you haven’t been to Balboa Park you really should make a point of it. We both had a great time just walking around and enjoying the the sun and gentle west coast breeze. The street performers were out, live music drifted in from all around us, they even had a store where they make blown glass vases and decorations right in front of you. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon, but if you want the full experience get out there on a weekend.

Last weekend I helped celebrate the union of Nathan & Sarah Hassey, an amazing couple full of life and love. From the first time I saw them together I could see the love they share, from the endearing looks and little smiles to the way they held hands. I really do love shooting couples who have devoted their all to one another. The day was filled with life, love, laughter and some yummy cake. I want to thank all those involved who made my job easier, and I want to thank Trevor Willis for coming out and second shooting for me.
