Last Friday I got to go out with three sisters and all their kids to shoot Christmas pictures. It was a great experience for me, I had to shoot 7 little kids that all wanted to look somewhere else. The little boy would hardly sit still long enough to shoot a picture, his sister tried to hold him down but there was just too much for him to do or look at. We did get some great pictures though, but it took all the adults in the group a certain amount of patience and creativity behind the lens to get them to look towards me. Maybe I should have brought some props, a rubber ducky possibly, or fire works, I just needed something they wouldn’t be able to resists looking at. Although then I would have run into the problem of keeping it out of their hands, when did curiosity become a bad thing? For me I think it may have been right after I stuck a key in an electrical outlet, or was it after I ran through a bunch of broken glass chasing after a tennis ball??? Truth is I think I am still after that ball, even if there is a chance I may put an eye out:)
